Dim

Dark mode for every website. One price, everything included.

Dim turns bright websites dark — including the ones that never bothered to offer a dark theme of their own.

One price. That's the whole product.

You pay once. Everything is unlocked. There is no subscription, no free trial that quietly expires, no account to create, and nothing held back for a “pro” version. What you install is what you bought.

It doesn't slow your browser

Dim applies a single stylesheet, once, when a page loads. It does not watch the page or recalculate anything while you scroll or type. Measured on real websites in Safari's own engine: 8 milliseconds per page.

It never sends anything anywhere

Dim makes zero network requests — not for analytics, not for updates, not for anything. Open Safari's Web Inspector and watch the Network tab stay empty. The privacy policy explains how to verify it yourself.

It respects sites that already got it right

When a website already has a dark theme, Dim uses that one instead of overriding it. A theme designed by the people who built the site will always look better than one applied from the outside.

Honest about the limits

On sites with no dark theme, Dim inverts the colours. That approach is fast and predictable, and on a small number of pages it can look off. When that happens, switch Dim off for that site with one click and it stays off.
